I see many beautiful, big office complexes in our neighborhood. Carefully planned landscapes with water run-off areas (populated with Canada Geese.) I’d love to work with a landscape architect using native plants in planned beds. They are smart and beautiful and reflect the forward thinking leadership of both the landscape architects and their clients. Just the sort of initiatives that will make a big difference in water use, and dangerous chemical run offs.

Not to mention the psychological relief a walk through a green space in the middle of a working day can bring. The human effect. Beauty in all seasons for passers-by to delight in. We need this contact with nature, especially when we spend most of our lives in glass and steel buildings, however beautiful the architecture may be.
